Your Tasks

As Lead Amazon Account Manager, you will take full ownership of our partnership with Amazon across Europe & North Amercia (EUNA). Reporting to Associate Director eComm EUNA, you will be responsible for online distribution and growth of NIVEA at Amazon EUNA, and be the internal and external lead for the European Amazon vendor negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for Amazon P&L, the development of the online business, sales objectives and turnover for Amazon.
  • Responsible for sales results (sell-in and sell-out in collaboration with local KAMs), European customer P&L and KPI monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain a robust assortment and pricing plan to secure market-leading performance, in close collaboration with local KAMs.
  • Lead the customer planning process to cascade and implement the eCommerce PICOS for Amazon, reflecting the European strategy and shopper profile; provide consultation to North American teams.
  • Prepare and lead negotiations with Amazon at the EU level on pricing, assortment, and key pan-European deals. Act as the internal and external lead for the Annual Vendor Negotiation (AVN/JBP), managing key internal stakeholder communication.
  • Coach and guide local KAMs in delivering the European and North American local plans; identify local best practices and ensure their deployment across other markets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Central Performance Marketing Manager to ensure an aligned media strategy that optimizes ROAS and NTB, and work with ERGM and Data Managers to enhance portfolio performance (e.g. gifting and bundles).

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in FMCG (ideally in cosmetics). Experience across multiple markets is a strong plus.
  • Direct key account management experience with Amazon (2+ years), with an expert understanding of Amazon’s business model. In-depth knowledge of the Amazon flywheel, JBP process, category management, and complex customer negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and the digital landscape, including the digital funnel and consumer journey.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including in-depth knowledge of trade spend and contract management.
  • Proven direct and indirect leadership skills, with experience turning commercial strategies into concrete execution.
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
  • An entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset, combined with a strong sense of ownership and a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset
  • Fluent in English
