• Initiate and manage complex R&D IIM projects independently. In this context, responsible for gathering information, in consultation with the laboratory manager and other departments involved preparing project briefings as well as planning and conducting the required experiments, including writing the relevant reports & summaries.
• Cooperate with Beiersdorf interface partners (e.g., Consumer & Clinical Science, Analytics, QM, Corporate Safety, Development Labs, Operations, Regional Laboratories, Legal, Marketing) as well as participate in and steer internal R&D working groups.
• Independently preparing and performing presentations to key stakeholders & representing the team. in e.g. PR events, activation road shows on sun education, influencer events,  training sessions
• Control data, document results and prepare final reports (in German and/or English), and present results in internal R&D groups.
• Optimizing and developing innovative suncare products using key scientific knowledge about the chemical structure of the deployed raw materials and their physical properties
• Developing further the category-related technologies, methods and processes, taking new tools into account, such as AI-based design of experiments (i.e. Uncountable)
• Instruction, developing and leading of student employees, apprentices and interns.
