Your Tasks

As Channel Sales Manager you will be responsible for creation and implementation of channel strategy plan in line with brand strategy, category and shopper insights.
You will be delivering and managing annual channel plan within agreed sales, profit, NSP, distribution and excellence at point of sale; managing customers contribution and investment levels within assigned channel; leading, developing and supporting team in targets realization.

Main responsibilities:

1. Creating and implementing sales strategy for the specified channel

    • Understanding channel and customer dynamics,
    • Setting and tracking KPI for channel and customer performance,
    • Creating and implementing sales strategy based on recommended customer prioritization within the customer group.

2. Channel Management

    • Responsible for developing and sustaining healthy business relationships with accounts,
    • Accountable for account planning development,
    • Accountable for delivering sales and profit targets, as well as MSO accuracy,
    • Setting the negotiation approach for channel,
    • Consulting and challenging preparation and implementation of holistic Joint Business Plan or Annual Promo Plan with Customers,
    • Continuous performance analysis adjusting strategies to market circumstances and sharing knowledge about customer specificity within whole organization.

3. Conditions Management

    • Verifying Total Trade Conditions and transforming them into Pay for Performance structure,
    • Managing assigned budget to secure TTC target and providing full transparency,
    • Recommending strategic approach for price and trade terms developments – Sales Strategy,
    • Best practice exchanging and implementing,
    • Providing transparency in Region and Europe.

4. Pricing

    • Implementing of List prices to trade,
    • Securing NIVEA competitiveness vs Key competitors at given customers,
    • Supporting creation of price strategy development.

5.  Assortment and Promotion Management

    • Accountable for the execution of assortment and promotion strategy,
    • Verifying promotional plans in line with the company’s strategy and brand priorities,
    • Challenging promotional effectiveness including Sales, Profitability and Forecast Accuracy,
    • Preparing and implementing the corrective actions for non-performing activities.

6. Team Management

    • Leading recruitment and onboarding process for new commers,
    • Supporting team members in defining account strategies, reaching goals, day to day business, negotiations and strategy implementation,
    • Delivering on-going feedback and creating with people personal development plans.

Your Profile

  • University degree in business area,
  • Deep knowledge of FMCG; Strong commercial awareness and solid negotiation skills applicable in everyday work,
  • Experience in Hypermarkets/Supermarkets channel will be considered as an advantage,
  • Proven track record of consistent results delivery,
  • Former Leadership Experience preferred,
  • Advanced business English and Polish,
  • Ability to manage complexity with a solution based, task focused approach,
  • Excellent interpersonal, cross functional communication and team working skills.
