Strategy & Governance
• Define and implement sourcing strategies for POSM categories, aligned with business needs and global procurement guidelines
• Ensure compliance and governance in all procurement processes, including contract lifecycle management and audit readiness
• Lead mid- to long-term contract negotiations and renewals in partnership with legal and internal stakeholders
Procurement Business Partnering
• Act as a strategic partner to the Shopper Marketing and Trade teams, understanding business objectives and co-creating solutions with them
• Influence internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing decisions support both operational and commercial goals
• Facilitate alignment across functions to drive efficiency and transparency
Project Procurement
• Managing projects with transformational business impact and/or projects resulting in major change of category strategy
Performance Management
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs, ensuring high-quality service and continuous improvement
• Identify and act on opportunities to optimize cost, service, and speed-to-market
Procurement Processes & Systems
• Responsible for compliance with legal requirements and Beiersdorf Procurement, ensuring proper maintenance of Category spend data in SAP and that KPIs reflect contractual terms, contracts and suppliers
• Developing best practices, standard documents and digital solutions, supporting the continuous improvement of global standards
• Continuously developing and respective processes together with regional & local peers to ensure competitiveness
Supplier Management
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, acting as the main interface between vendors and the business
• Ensure structured communication, escalation paths, and issue resolution with outsourced partners
• Promote collaboration and innovation with key suppliers to improve outcomes and add business value
Responsible for leading the procurement strategy for Point-of-Sale Materials, including displays, printed matters, and advertising items. This role plays a key part in managing strategic partnerships, driving performance, and ensuring governance across outsourced suppliers. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Shopper Marketing, to ensure effective execution and value delivery. This role includes full responsibility for contract negotiation and management to maximize Procurement’s value contribution — focusing on cost development, supply security, service levels, agility, and innovation. Also ensure adherence to Procurement standards, processes, and compliance requirements. Additionally, this role will act as a driver of supplier relationship management, coordinating key interfaces between the supplier and internal teams, supporting performance tracking (KPIs, SLAs), issue resolution, and identifying improvement opportunities through regular reviews and audits.
