Application Process

  • After submitting your application, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. For some positions, we may ask you to complete a short online assessment – this serves as an additional component to your documents and helps us get a better picture of you. Our Talent Acquisition Team will then carefully review your application. You can check the status at any time in your candidate profile.

  • We strive to provide you with an update on your application as quickly as possible. Since we review each application individually and coordinate with the department, it may take some time depending on the volume of applications. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the application process.

  • Yes, you can modify your application via your candidate profile. There, you can adjust, save, or withdraw your application.

  • No worries – the online assessment is simply an addition to your application documents. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers – we just want to get to know you beyond your CV. You will be presented with short tasks focusing on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

All tasks are designed to be completed comfortably within around 20 minutes. Before the assessment begins, you will have the chance to do a short practice run and get familiar with the format.

  • Yes, the online assessment platform offers its own accessibility settings. For example, you can adjust navigation or content display to suit your individual needs.

If none of the available options fit your needs, please contact the person named in the job posting. It is important to us that all applicants – regardless of their individual abilities – have equal opportunities throughout the application process.

  • Yes, you can retake the online assessment – but only after six months. So here is our tip: Prepare well and find a quiet place where you can fully concentrate on the assessment.

  • In the interview, you will meet the hiring manager responsible for the role – your point of contact for any questions about the position and the team.

It is best to prepare beforehand by learning about our products, company values, and current topics – for example, on our website or social media. Think about which of your experiences are especially relevant to the role and be ready to share specific examples.

    And most importantly: be yourself!

  • If you have any questions about the application process, feel free to reach out to the contact person listed in the respective job posting.

Additional Topics

  • Yes, that is possible in some areas. We publish specific topics for theses – especially master's theses – directly on our careers page. Additionally, many working student positions offer the opportunity to develop a suitable topic together with the department and work on your thesis in parallel.

Important: It is best to discuss this desire early on with your team.

  • Yes, both mandatory and elective stages are possible with us. Simply check our careers page under the filter “Career Level” > “Legal Clerks” for suitable offers.
