Your Tasks

The overall responsibility of the Response Supply Manager is to drive and coordinate the sourcing and supply of Finished Goods across multiple touch points and stakeholders between France-Benelux and our factories. The role ensures proactive and responsive monitoring, reporting and crisis management to support and ensure service level and sale growth. The role holder must internally collaborate cross functionally with supply chain, sales, marketing, shopper and customer, finance, logistics etc. as well as effective collaboration with the Centre of Excellence, Europe & North America Region and headquarters to deliver the demand plan and S&OP process.

This role can be located in Amsterdam (NL) or Paris (F).

  • Proactive Risk Management : Accountable for short-term service by proactively monitoring and mitigating risks and resolving supply/demand gaps.
  • Strategic Coordination : Act as the central interface between the local markets and the Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure flawless execution of business plans.
  • Stock Availability Oversight : Monitor and report on out-of-stock (OOS) situations to improve stock availability and Service Level.
  • Sales Impact Analysis : Translate volume risks into Net Sales impact and assess plan achievability under OOS conditions.
  • Risk & Opportunity Communication : Serve as the strategic contact for short-term stock issues, providing feedback and mitigation options to local teams and CoE.
  • Service Level Reporting : Provide strategic service level insights to the France-Benelux organization, with a strong focus on anticipating and shaping future service level performance.
  • Allocation & VAS Strategy : Support local reservations / country splits, as well as for Value Added Service Planning.
  • Critical Stock Management : Lead root cause analysis, steering, and execution for critical stock issues, including scrapping and provision management. Provide input on waste and scrapping decisions.
  • Obsolete Stock Strategy : Drive decisions on pre-expired, excess and obsolete stock, and align with Demand Planning and CoE for execution.
  • Strategic Supply Chain Insight : Understand broader supply chain dynamics and support short-term business opportunities (e.g. stock releases, escalating production outlook).
  • E2E Planning Expertise : Clear understanding of E2E planning, including Demand Planning, S&OP, Value Added Services Planning & Execution, Innovation Planning and Supply Planning.
  • Bottleneck Management : Coordinate strategic communication and actions during bottlenecks with CoE, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and VAS.
  • Tool Development : Develop and implement strategic tools with/from the Center of Excellence.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or other related fields.
  • Preference to candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in demand and supply planning.
  • Experience in FMCG would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP APO and/or R3.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint (VBA and Query is preferrable).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French are mandatory.
  • Possess analytical & problem-solving skills with commercial thinking.
  • Stakeholder management, conflict management and influencing skills.
  • Manage high complexity, use continuous improvement and digital solutions to step-up business delivery.
  • Decision making and leadership.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
