Your Tasks
As Senior Accounting Specialist R2R you will be at the heart of the Global Finance Services Poland, working together in an international team on daily accounting & tax topics. In Beiersdorf Shared Services, we live accounting to the fullest and are in sole responsibility of all accounting operations. This allows us to give a broad and deep variety of engaging daily tasks.
You will be responsible for the closings and the standardization of the accounting processes for the Polish Sales Entity as well as a Polish Permanent Establishment and first contact person for their Finance Management.

Main tasks:
- Responsibility for End-to-End Accounting Processes incl. Local Accounting/Financial
- Statements and closings according to IFRS as well as Polish Local GAAP
- Preparation of the VAT declaration with support of external advisor and orchestration of VAT related matters with tax authorities
- Communication with Auditors and local Authorities
- Performing of accounting transactions in ERP system
- Daily communication in the role of a business partner with other departments from the local affiliates (e.g. Controlling, Customer Service, Procurement) as well as with Headquarter Functions
- Delivering accounting results in time and quality, measured by defined KPIs
Your Profile
- Successfully completed professional education in business administration or a study degree with focus on finance and accounting
- Additional qualification as ACCA, certified accountant or comparable certificates
- Operational experience in VAT, IFRS and Polish Local GAAP
- Solid experience with accounting processes and closing (minimum 5 years) and of processes within the PTP, OTC & RTR area
- Expert in SAP Module FI with knowledge of connections to Modules MM, SD and CO
- High sense of ownership, positive "can-do" mindset and ability to navigate through uncertainty
- Fluently in English and Polish
