Your Tasks

  • As part of the Photobiology & Skin Protection laboratory, the PhD thesis aims to characterize UV damage induced changes of molecular pathways in the skin context to develop novel photoprotective concepts and strategies.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, biomedical sciences preferentially with basic knowledge in bioinformatics (R/python, omics data analysis)
  • Experience in cell culture, cell analysis and standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction, protein purification, Knockdown/Overexpression)
  • Desirable experience in immunoprecipitation, CRISPR/Cas9 editing and/or omics technologies
  • Problem-solving mentality
  • Strong team orientation
  • Strong written and oral communication in English
