Your Tasks

The Procurement team “Capex & Facilities” within Procurement Indirects at Beiersdorf Group is an international team of Global Category Managers covering the categories Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Machines, Facility Management, Facility Services and Energy Supply. We are responsible for providing Procurement support to our global portfolio of production centers, distribution centers, management units, and facilities across 150 affiliates worldwide. Dealing with high investment volumes and strategic demands, our team requires individuals with strong strategic procurement and project management skills.

  • In this position you have the choice to be responsible for definition & deployment of global strategies and international Project Procurement tasks in a) Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) or in b) Energy & Certificates
  • You are accountable for contract handling and negotiation for the full category spend against the overall target to maximize the Procurement value contribution (e.g. project timeline, return on investment, cost development, supply security, improved services, innovation) leveraging the full range of options available in the market.
  • In your Procurement role within global investment projects and operating facilities, you are responsible for compliance with Procurement standards, methods and processes,  stakeholder management and sustainable interface towards demand owner and Procurement community.
  • Together with the CAPEX & Facilities team, you are a reliable expert to share Procurement and category know-how within and beyond your international area.
  • In addition to this you develop and drive supplier portfolio and relationship management within your category, innovative solutions and are eager to contribute to the further development of Procurement

Your Profile

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Engineering, Construction / Energy Management.
  • Relevant professional experience and knowledge in a) mechanical, electrical, plumbing installation and maintenance or b) energy & certificates procurement and environmental sustainability.
  • At least five years of demonstrated experience in procurement, managing high-volume investments with a strong project-oriented focus.
  • Experience in handling construction contracts standards and energy & commodity trading.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, e-tendering, S2C-/ P2P-processes.
  • Fluency in English and German is mandatory; proficiency in an additional language is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
  • Confident demeanor, persuasive abilities, analytical mindset, and a results-oriented approach to work.
  • Proactive, pragmatic engagement and a solution-driven working style.
