Your Tasks
We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our Benelux Planning Team starting in January. During this internship you will gain hands-on experience in how an international supply chain operates—from factory to customer—while building valuable analytical and practical skills. You will be collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, VAS, and Customer Management teams in NL and BE.
Your main focus will be on the category NIVEA Hair Care & Styling. You will be tracking promotions, media, and in-store activities to maintain healthy stock levels and high customer service.
You also have the opportunity to use a local or regional project for your university assignment/thesis
• Service Level Tracking and Reporting
• (Future) OOS Tracking and communication
• Month to date Order Consumption Tracking
• Stock Management (Stock allocation, focus on waste reduction)
• Customer/ Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Process Mapping & Improvement
• Systems, Tools & Reporting
• Support maintaining an 18-month rolling forecast, overseeing product launches, relaunches, and promotions in the market
Your Profile
You are:
- Finishing your Master’s degree in Supply Chain and/or Operations Management
- Available for 6 months as of January 2025, 5 days a week (2 days of home office)
- Fluent in English. Knowledge in Dutch is considered a plus, but is not mandatory
- Interested in starting a career in FMC
- Strong Excel skills and are IT literate
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactive and collaborative personality with strong communication and social skills
- Solution-oriented, pragmatic, but with the right attention to detail person
