VAS Specialist/ Packaging Developer

Your Tasks

  • As a VAS Specialist in Packaging Development, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and sourcing packaging components—primarily labels and cardboard-based materials—required to deliver projects commissioned by various business units.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers of packaging components (labels and cardboard materials) and copackers
  • Ensure the achievement of Supply Chain KPIs related to the availability and timely delivery of VAS products.
  • Coordinate communication and activities between internal departments and external partners/suppliers.
  • Conduct operational price negotiations with component suppliers.
  • Support the management and performance monitoring of VAS subcontractors.
  • Handle complaints related to packaging components in cooperation with the Quality Department.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and optimize inventory levels of labels and cardboard packaging components.
  • Verify and approve supplier invoices in line with agreed terms and services delivered.

Your Profile

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in packaging development, component planning, procurement, or quality management, preferably involving labels and cardboard materials.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Practical knowledge and experience in co-packing operations.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working with SAP systems (preferably SAP ERP, SAP PLM, SAP APO).
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in an international business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-oriented mindset.
