Your Tasks

Lead the Management Unit People Agenda and advise the General Manager and Leadership Team to drive the Culture, Organisation and Talent necessary to deliver the business ambition. Shape the Global People strategy, to drive excellence in HR, in line with the Local, Regional and Global strategy, vision and objectives.

People Strategy

  • Set the People Agenda, priorities and KPIs for the MU, in line with MU business plan, and Global and Regional People strategy.
  • As member of the MU leadership team, advise the GM and Leadership Team on all strategically high-impact People situations (the moments that matter)

Culture

  • Assess the MU culture needed to meet the current and emerging MU and Region business Agenda. Identify gaps. Prioritize and facilitate the activities necessary to ensure a consistent high performance Beiersdorf culture
  • Lead the implementation and execution of global programs to drive the target company culture. Eg: Performance Management, Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Care Beyond Skin day, etc…
  • Ensure that the MU Leadership Teams are adequately trained on the key messages and process steps to be ambassadors for the culture and role models leaders
  • Leverage the business agenda and create key moments to infuse the culture throughout the teams. e.g.: sales meetings, townhalls, children’s days, etc.
  • Recommend future programs for global roll-out

Organization Transformation

  • Drives the implementation and execution of Global and Regional transformation programs
  • Act as the change agent and champion for the MU
  • Identify opportunities for organizational changes in the MU and lead the design and implementation

Talent Management

  • Assess the capabilities and talent needed to meet the current and emerging needs in the MU and Region. Identify gaps. Prioritize and facilitate the development activities necessary to ensure a high caliber talent pool for the MU.
  • Lead the implementation and execution of global programs to ensure local talent attraction, retention, reward and development, eg: Workforce Planning, Talent development, Compensation, succession planning…
  • Ensure that the MU Leadership Teams are adequately trained on the key messages and process steps to develop the MU talent and role-model leadership
  • Support the implementation of Global Talent Acquisition and Training&Learning programs by the shared service center
  • Recommend future programs for global roll-out

HR Governance & Labor Relation

  • Ensure compliance with all HR linked Global, Regional and Local frameworks and regulations.
  • Acts as the custodian of approved HR policies and processes in the MU, and ensure effective communication, and facilitate the implementation and execution of HR compliance in the MU.
  • Monitor the external environment and provide support by proactively recommending enhancements to existing policies and procedures that align with the Global, Regional and Local culture and objectives.
  • Responsible to deliver on people linked budget in line with organization annual business plan and look for efficiencies and cost improvements

People Leadership & One Team Spirit

  • Guide, motivate and develop HR Team members in the MU
  • Drive a One Team mentality to foster unity and collaboration across teams in the MU beyond reporting lines.  Provide functional leadership to HR team members
  • Build a robust and diverse HR talent pipeline, in line with the defined diversity agenda

Your Profile

  • University degree with focus on HR or business-related fields
  • Experience in a similar leadership role within a multinational corporation
  • Experience in people management and development
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and applying matrix organizational management principles
  • Resilience in the face of VUCA environments and the ability to respond with required agility to pressure and complexity
  • Proven capability to provide leadership, engage and obtain buy-in and cooperation from across stakeholder layers in a matrix organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire across functional teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Ability to thrive in an international environment
  • As a partner to the business, strong communication and influencing skills
  • Proactive and hands on
  • Affinity for and understanding of digital trend
  • Ability to set mid-long term agenda for the whole function
  • Proficient written and spoken English
