Your Tasks

  • Planner is accountable for ensuring the availability of products and optimizing service levels, inventory, and business waste (excess stock and leftover).
  • Ensure service levels by utilizing alert-based planning to deliver a high level of product availability in accordance with MU set targets.
  • Maintain SAP master data related to supply planning.
  • Maintain and update R/3 (S4 and APO) related material master data/settings/transactions for all NARTs sourced from PCs/3PMs/VAS, including all necessary settings for the MU.
  • Implement alert-based planning to identify incorrect master data maintenance and take the necessary corrective action to ensure that problems are resolved.
  • Review major demand variations (increases/decreases) with the demand planner (FG/Semi FG/VAS Supply) to manage the supply of products based on supply unit lead time.
  • Monitor and ensure availability of Finished Goods at warehouse and inventory levels to meet the company’s target.
  • Report low stock, long-term supply risk, and potential OOS (out of stock) to related functions with supporting reasons on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor excess, aging, and obsolete stock and discuss with commercials for solid action plans to minimize write-off.
  • Steer action in S&OP to mitigate waste.
  • Implement alert-based planning to identify potential supply issues or high stock coverage in the near future for products sourced from production sites (PCs/3PMs/VAS).
  • Steer supply constraints (bottleneck, capacity, freight, etc.) with key stakeholders to ensure established priorities and initiate efforts to reduce the OOS period.
  • Conduct analysis and documentation of all service level losses.
  • Plan launches and re-launches ensuring service is maximized while leftovers are kept to a minimum.
  • Communicate availability dates for new/re-launched products in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Propose solutions and trigger actions to reduce potential leftover costs.
  • Conduct systematic safety stock review and maintenance (monthly) by setting the correct safety stock levels depending on whether the product is new, being re-launched (phase in/out), or strongly promotion-driven.
  • Keep the business fully informed of all relevant supply topics and deliver agreed levels of product availability.
  • Build effective relationships with HUB Planner, PCs/3PM teams via regular reviews/visits to support product availability targets and target stock coverage.
  • Execute existing processes and systems to ensure requested ways of working and enable the Demand & Supply Planning team to deliver an efficient and high-quality service.

Your Profile

  • Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and service level optimization.

  • Proficiency in SAP (R/3, S4, APO) with hands-on experience in maintaining supply planning master data.

  • Ability to work with alert-based planning tools and identify master data or supply risks proactively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to review demand variations, supply risks, stock levels, and service losses.

  • Experience coordinating with demand planners, commercial teams, production centers, and 3PM/VAS partners.

  • Capability to manage supply constraints and drive mitigation actions with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience in planning product launches/re-launches, including forecasting leftovers and availability timelines.

  • Knowledge of S&OP processes and ability to steer actions to reduce waste and improve availability.

  • Strong communication skills to keep the business informed and maintain effective cross-functional relationships.

  • Ability to execute and improve planning systems and processes.

  • Collaborative mindset to work with MU/Regional/Global Supply Chain stakeholders.
