As Manager Tax EUNA & Luxury you will be responsible for the coordination and governance of all indirect tax related topics of the BSS Hub Europe served entities while closely aligning with Group Taxation (headquarter). You will regularly exchange with the BSS Europe accountants on tax matters, aiding, assisting them and reviewing their work. Your role includes managing changes within tax laws with communication to Group Taxation (headquarter), monitoring indirect tax compliance deadlines, identifying knowledge gaps and training needs for the BSS Hub Europe accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinates indirect tax topics in the Hub Europe with Group Taxation (headquarter)
• Supporting hub accountants in coordinating all tax related matters that arise from ongoing tax operations (e.g. VAT filings, Plastic Tax, etc.)
• Operationally managing tax audits
• Living a business partnering role
• Review of indirect tax filings
• Tax Data Management in close collaboration with Global Tax Technology department (E-Invoicing)
• Monitoring and implementing legislative changes in the region
• Identifying options to enhance use of tax technology
• Exploring opportunities to insource VAT Compliance
• University degree in Taxation, Law, Accounting or a related field; professional tax qualification is a plus
• Several years of hands-on experience in indirect taxation, ideally with strong local and regional expertise across European jurisdictions, Asia is a plus
• Proven ability to analyze complex tax matters, develop pragmatic solutions, and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment
• Strong communication and project management skills, with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders and drive initiatives independently
• International mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural business context
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
