Your Tasks

This role sits at the intersection of business management and analytics. The core mandate is to connect the dots across eCommerce levers: sales, traffic, conversion, availability, content, media, and profitability, so leadership and cross-functional partners can make faster, better-informed decisions.

In addition, this role assumes direct responsibility for managing and driving performance for a defined portion of the Amazon Canada business, in close partnership with, and reporting into, the Sr. eCommerce Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unified eCommerce Performance Ownership
    • Own the integrated performance view across Amazon, Omnichannel, Performance Marketing, and Digital Shelf
    • Translate complex, multi-source data into clear business insights and priorities
    • Act as the primary performance thought partner to eCommerce, Marketing, Sales, and Finance leaders
  • Amazon & Omni Performance Management
    • Lead performance analysis across Amazon and key omni retailers, including sales, POS trends, growth vs LY and plan, traffic, conversion, availability, and ASIN/SKU-level contribution and profitability
    • Assume day-to-day performance ownership for a defined portion of the Amazon Canada business
    • Partner with channel leads to diagnose issues, size opportunities, and recommend actions
    • Ensure Amazon and Omni performance are contextualized within total eCommerce results
  • Business Rhythm, Forecasting & MBRs
    • Own eCommerce inputs into Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and leadership updates
    • Support forecasting, trend analysis, and variance explanations across channels
    • Translate performance data into clear narratives: what happened, why it happened, and what to do next
  • Analytics Foundations & Amazon Account Ownership
    • Own the analytics foundations that enable consistent, decision-ready eCommerce reporting
    • Define, align, and maintain core KPIs, definitions, and data sources across Amazon and Omni
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across retailer, media, and financial data
    • In close partnership with the Senior Business Development Manager (Amazon), manage and drive performance for a defined portion of the Amazon business
    • Provide analytical leadership for account health, forecasting, operational cadence, and issue resolution
    • Prepare and contribute to Amazon performance reviews, MBRs, and leadership readouts
    • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and insight generation

Your Profile

Ideal Experience & Profile – Experience & Skills

  • 6–12+ years in eCommerce, marketplace, analytics, or digital commerce roles (level flexible)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon required; omni-channel experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to run the business through analytics, not just report performance
  • Background in CPG / FMCG or high-velocity retail preferred
  • Strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of eCommerce lever
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to synthesize across channels and deliver executive-ready stories
  • Experience building and presenting MBRs and performance reviews
  • Effective cross-functional communicator and collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
