Your Tasks
Scale-Up and Process Engineering:
Assess prototypes and raw materials for manufacturability and risk mitigation. Lead process development and scale-up with R&D and production teams. Drive continuous improvement using RCA and FMEA. Implement global technologies across production sites. Apply DOE, SPC and statistical tools to define process windows, control plans and validation protocols. Coordinate with Pilot Plant, Fill & Pack and Supply Chain teams.
Factory Operations Enablement:
Partner with compounding, filling and QA teams for safe and efficient operations. Improve cycle time, quality and productivity. Support investments from Gate-0 to implementation. Act as SPOC for factories and 3PMs; support trials, qualifications, SOP creation and training. Support ramp-ups, start-ups and capacity expansion. Evaluate 3PM capabilities.
Digitalization and Sustainability:
Use digital process control and real-time analytics. Implement sustainable practices to reduce energy, water and waste.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Chemistry or B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetics or Chemical Engineering.
6 to 8 years of experience in processing, technology transfer or Supply Chain in reputed organizations.
Experience working in global or regional teams within MNCs with strong cross-functional exposure.
Good knowledge of cosmetic GMP and manufacturing standards. Strong expertise in RCA, FMEA and DOE.
Strong understanding of cosmetic and personal care ingredients, chemistry and processing.
Ability to effectively drive trials, workshops and discussions in virtual environments.
Strong ability to work in ambiguous situations and align cross-functional teams.
Exposure to Stage Gate processes is an advantage.
Good understanding of cosmetic manufacturing equipment.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with fluency in English.
Global mindset with cultural sensitivity, mobility and willingness to travel. Proactive and team oriented.
