Your Tasks

The SAP Contract & Supplier Manager is responsible for the operational management of supplier relationships and contracts within the SAP framework. This role focuses on overseeing supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and optimizing supplier engagement to drive value for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in supplier management and contract administration, with a solid understanding of SAP as a corporate entity and SAP products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Management:
    • Oversee the operational aspects of supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  2. Contract Administration:
    • Manage the lifecycle of supplier contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal processes.
    • Ensure that all contracts are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation, ensuring easy access for stakeholders.

  3. Performance Monitoring:
    • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance against established KPIs and SLAs.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback on supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present performance reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

  4. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks associated with supplier relationships and contracts, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to supplier contracts and operations.
    • Work closely with the legal team to address any contractual disputes or compliance issues.

  5. Process Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements in supplier management and contract administration.
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in supplier interactions.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in supplier management to drive continuous improvement.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage. Alternatively, completed IT apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier management and contract administration, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of supplier management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP products and systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent German and English skills are a mandatory requirement for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of legal aspects of contracts and procurement.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management or Contract Management is a plus.
