What position are we looking for? HR Manager (M/F) for our Beiersdorf Manufacturing site in Tres Cantos (BMTC).
As HR Manager, you play a key role in shaping the people strategy and organizational culture of the site. You partner closely with the Production Center Director (PCD) and Leadership Team (LT) to ensure the right capabilities, leadership pipeline, and organizational structures are in place to deliver business results with high-performing teams and a strong, values driven culture.
You also lead the local HR team, providing direction, coaching and development to ensure high quality HR support across the production center. Operating within Beiersdorf’s HR operating model, you and your team translate global and regional HR strategies into effective local implementation.
The main functions and responsibilities are:
- Trusted Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing strategic guidance on people, organizational, and labor relations topics.
- Act as strategic HR partner to the PCD and LT.
- Build strong and trusted relationships with leaders to understand business priorities.
- Advise leaders on organizational, people, and leadership topics to support effective decision making.
- Manage complex HR matters including employee relations, performance cases, and sensitive people topics.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives and works councils.
- Ensure compliance with local labor legislation and company policies.
- Represent the production center in local labor relations discussions and negotiations.
- Represent the production center in employment-related legal proceedings.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Strengthen employee engagement and foster a culture aligned with Beiersdorf’s values and leadership principles.
- Monitor engagement through employee surveys and translate insights into meaningful action.
- Support leaders in building an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing culture.
- Drive local initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement.
- Partner with business stakeholders to embed Beiersdorf’s culture and leadership behaviors.
- Responsible for general services such as canteen, working clothes, bus service, internal communications, corporate social responsibility, employee gifting and employee events, among others.
- Talent, Leadership & Diversity: Build strong leadership capability and inclusive talent practices that ensure a sustainable pipeline of future leaders.
- Drive talent management and succession planning for the production center.
- Identify and develop future leaders in partnership with the leadership team.
- Coach leaders and high-potential employees on development and career progression.
- Support leadership team effectiveness and development initiatives. Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives aligned with global strategy.
- Organization & Transformation: Drive organizational effectiveness and support transformation initiatives that enable the business to evolve and grow.
- Conduct organizational health checks to anticipate talent and capability needs.
- Support business organizational design topics in line with production center strategy.
- Support and drive transformation initiatives impacting the production center.
- Manage succession planning for business-critical roles.
- Ensure effective implementation of global and regional HR initiatives at site level including preparing for, launching, and embedding the Next Generation HR (NGHR) operating model, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities across HR and driving efficient, value-added ways of working.
Support business organizational design topics in line with production center strategy. Support and drive transformation initiatives impacting the production center. Manage succession planning for business-critical roles. Ensure effective implementation of global and regional HR initiatives at site level including preparing for, launching, and embedding the Next Generation HR (NGHR) operating model, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities across HR and driving efficient, value-added ways of working.
- Performance Management: Enable a high-performance culture by equipping leaders with the frameworks, tools, and support needed to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead performance calibration and talent review processes at the site.
- Guide leaders in setting clear performance expectations and development goals.
- Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, and development planning.
- Manage complex performance cases and ensure fair and consistent processes.
- Ensure performance and reward frameworks are implemented effectively and transparently.
- Ensure the organization has the right workforce capabilities in place by supporting effective training, competence management (as part of ManEx program) and capability development aligned with business and operational needs.
