To strengthen our Belgium Finance Team, we are looking for a dynamic Finance & Controlling Intern .

As a Finance Intern, you will support Belgium Finance Team (Commercial Controlling – Nivea and Business Controlling – Eucerin & Hansaplast) in order to (over)achieve sustainable growth of the business. During your internship, you will get a deeper understanding of all financial elements that are part of the daily business at Beiersdorf, and main drivers of Net Sales and Profitable growth. Beiersdorf Belgium is a dynamic organization, where we work together in small cross-functional teams with our core values: Care, Simplicity, Courage, and Trust, in mind. This internship experience can be your introduction to a career with us:

  • Creation of Monthly Business Review reports and setting up a common standard to streamline the process across our customers
  • Maintain and track our customers’ contractual agreements in SAP
  • In-depth customer and product sales & margin analysis
  • Support integration of Power BI reports into the local organization, coordinating with finance team in NL and FR
  • Support with ad-hoc analysis from local / regional / global teams
  • Support daily tasks (daily sales, pricing requests, etc.)

Your Profile

What it takes to join us?

  • Currently following a bachelor or master degree in Business / Economics / Finance / or other relevant fields;
  • Available for 6 months , full time as from July or August 2024
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge in Dutch - French or German is a plus
  • Having an interest and willing to start a career in FMCG
  • Organizational skills – taking initiatives - Can-do mentality
  • Demonstrates team spirit and willingness to tackle challenges;
  • Strong Excel skills and IT literate
  • Proactive and collaborative personality with strong communication skills.
  • Solution oriented, pragmatic, but with the right attention to details.
