Your Tasks

Did you ever wonder what the digital transformation has in store for Procurement? Then join us on our journey! Embedded within the Procurement Excellence, the team of Digitalization & Analytics aims to unlock the full value of Procurement by leveraging the latest technologies and analytical tools to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive strategic value. With a spectrum of projects spanning different technologies, we are embarking on a journey to upgrade Procurement´s digital backbone. As Procurement Digitalization Development Manager you will be a key contributor: by turning ideas into concepts and ultimately into global implementation projects that you will be leading.

  • Manage/lead Procurement projects from concept to implementation in alignment with global process owners
  • Manage requirements definition, business case calculation, cost estimation, controlling and project organization
  • Ensure timely communication to all interfaces and stakeholders
  • Work closely with both internal and external IT teams at Beiersdorf
  • Implement standardized and IT-supported Procurement processes globally
  • Identify process- and system improvement ideas with the international Procurement community
  • Validate and test new system enhancements
  • Pinpoint and evaluate IT-trends relevant for Procurement
  • Act as application-owner role for defined Procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba), defining the strategic tool direction, steering continuous enhancements and managing user communities

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in IT, Economics or Business Administration or acquired professional experience
  • Experience in Procurement / Supply Chain environment
  • Preferably experience in Directs Procurement field
  • Preferably experience with Procurement IT tools like SAP IT-knowledge (SAP ERP, SAP SRM, SAP ARIBA)
  • Proven track record regarding IT-implementation projects
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Process-oriented with analytics driven mindset
  • Mentally flexible with strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent communication skills, customer focus and change management experience
  • Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English
