HR Specialist BNL / HR Officer

Beiersdorf Benelux with its approximately 210 employees is now looking for an HR Specialist for 40 hours/week who’s interested in driving HR admin for Benelux and enjoys working in an international, dynamic work environment. In this diverse and operational role, you will join the HR team consisting of a Manager HR Benelux, an HR Business Partner NL, an HR Coordinator, a Payroll & Compensation & Benefits Specialist and a Facilities & Prevention Employee. 
 

Your Tasks

Manage the HR-related administration for the Beiersdorf Benelux affiliate (main focus on Netherlands) in an efficient and effective way to ensure a great, seamless employee journey and well-being as well as compliance with regulations and agreements.

Efficient HR Administration, HRIS Management, and Sickness Administration

  • Maintain HR systems for the Benelux region, ensuring accurate enrolment of new hires and timely execution of changes. Participate in global HRIS projects.
  • Manage HR-related correspondence, ensuring accuracy, proper filing in electronic personnel file, and timely communication and delivery for monthly payroll processing. Regularly update templates, and draft concept letters for exceptional cases.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes. Collect all necessary information and documentation, give HR introductions to new employees.
  • Manage sick leave administration in system of arbo-provider and UWV-portal.

Effective Stakeholder Communication and Support

  • Communicate proactively deadlines, tasks, and policies effectively to stakeholders, fostering a supportive and compliant environment.
  • Act as primary point of contact for managers and employees for general HR-related questions on processes and procedures.
  • Act as primary point of contact for location-free/remote workers in Benelux, aligning with international HR colleagues and line managers if needed, and assisting the Finance Manager in creating service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist HR BP, Compensation Specialist and Manager HR, with e.g. reporting, L&D administration, yearly compensation round, or according to experience and development interest.
  • Control the contract lifecycle management tool and provide backup support for facility-related tasks in case of absence.

Continuous Improvement for Enhanced Employee Journey and Compliance

  • Proactively identify and pursue improvement opportunities in HR processes and procedures to enhance the employee journey.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to organizational efficiency while prioritizing employee well-being and compliance.

Your Profile

  • Min. HBO studies
  • Min. 3 years experience in a similar HR role, eg. HR Officer, Jr. HR Advisor, HR Admin, HRIS Specialist
  • Knowledge of HR Admin in general and of Dutch labor and social security law
  • Experience with SAP Success Factors and ADP is an advantage
  • Dutch and English language skills in speaking and writing are required, both on C1 or higher level (advanced proficiency)
  • Detail orientated and accurate
  • Hands-on, fast and independent
  • Organizational skills
  • Service-orientated, people-oriented and enjoys working in a team
  • Available for preferably 40 hrs/week of which a minimum of 3 days/week in the office.
